Musi floods completed its 106th year of devastation – Hyderabad

Great Musi Flood was a devastating flood that occurred on 28 September 1908 in the Hyderabad state capital on the banks of Musi river. The floods shattered the life of the people living in Hyderabad, killing 15,000 people. A 200-year-old tamarind tree inside Osmania Hospital saved over 150 people who climbed it during incident.
